David C. Cook only had five dollars in his pocket after the 1871 Chicago fire, yet he spent it buying milk for homeless children. The desire for kids to know Christ consumed him, and in 1875 he founded a publishing company. We have been publishing Sunday school and vacation Bible school materials ever since.
